Our Belief

Our Mission

Cornersville Middle School Students will complete requirements to be promoted to high school.

Cornersville High School Students will successfully complete all requirements to earn a high school diploma in a timely manner for postsecondary success.

Vision

All students, including special education students, will have a 90-93% success rate for the End of Course tests.

Cornersville High School will have a graduation rate that exceeds the state requirements.

The number of teachers will be adequate to meet all educational goals.

    STEM Careers

    STEM Careers

    Ms. Erin Glass's ELL students wrote, illustrated, and published a book called, " A New Beginning" about a student who comes to the United States from Honduras.  Through a MEF Delta Kappa Gamma grant, the students visited the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL to learn about STEM careers and tour the museum. They also spent time in the classroom researching STEM careers.

    HOBY Ambassador

    Rising junior Abigail Finley will be attending the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Conference at UT-Southern this summer. Student ambassadors participate in facilitated dialogue and abilities-based workshops to develop awareness of their leadership strengths and an understanding of their leadership values. Through these dynamic activities with their peers, students hone their skills and learn to recognize, amplify, and collaborate with the diverse strengths of others.

    FFA Attends Poultry Event

    FFA members (L to R) Seth Vines, Kate Lamon, Austin Haffner, Chris Anne Richter, and Jacey Metcalf traveled to Tennessee Tech University and participated in the TN FFA State Poultry Evaluation Career Development Event. They placed in the top 25 in the state.

    Bulldog Chess Club

    Bulldog Chess Club

    Originally established in 2018, the Chess Club was reactivated this spring at the request of students, following a hiatus due to the pandemic.  Students gather during homeroom to play and practice their skills for competitions. A tournament was held this year with 12 participants and top finishers included Nathen Medley (1st); Sarah Holliman (2nd); and Derrick Fowler (3rd).  Mrs. Vicky Nicholas-Beatty is the club sponsor.
