MES Students Recognized for Perfect Content Scores on Spring TCAP.

Ms. Taylor Hartley's 2nd grade class collaborated for about a month on a book entitled "Amazing Animals" which was recently published. Some of the animals included are a bird, lizard, owl, arctic fox, gorilla, koala, shark, monkey, polar bear, and sloth Using Epic, an online reading platform, the students researched what their animal eats, where they live, and other interesting facts in order to write about and draw the animal. A rough draft, final draft, and sketch of the animal were completed before each student's work was submitted. Congratulations to these young authors!
