Cornersville School

On April 22nd Cornersville FFA participated in the State Poultry Evaluation Career Development Event. Students learned how to select live meat-type chickens for broiler breeding, evaluate and place live egg-type hens, and rate the finished product by evaluating and grading ready-to-cook carcasses and parts of chickens and turkeys. Team members included (L to R) Chris Anne Richter, Brayden Burns, Brody Gibson, Landon Garrett, and Logan Cripe. They placed 19th in the state out of over 40 teams.
