MCS will be implementing the "Too Good for Drugs" school-based drug prevention program for elementary school students.

The program seeks to build the self-confidence of students so they are better able to make healthy choices and achieve success. Although there are different objectives across grade levels, promoting positive, pro-social attitudes and fostering healthy relationships are running themes throughout the program's curriculum. Overall, TGFD seeks to develop positive peer norms; appropriate attitudes toward alcohol, tobacco, and illegal drug use; personal and interpersonal skills relating to alcohol, tobacco, and illegal drug use; knowledge of the negative consequences of alcohol, tobacco, and illegal drug use; and finally the knowledge of the benefits of living a drug-free lifestyle.

If you do not wish for your student to participate in the Botvin Life Skills program please notify the school administration in writing by Friday, December 12, 2025.

Firearms Safety Letter
Boy Scout parent mtg will take place in the MES cafeteria on Tuesday, August 26 at 6:30. Girl Scout information went home last Thursday. We have extra if your child needs the information form for Girl Scouts. MES will wear blue on Friday to support the Tigers' first home regular season game. Looking forward to another great week at MES.
