The top class from PreK/Kindergarten and First grade with the most food items will earn ice cream! Thank you for partnering with us to give back to our community by showing kindness! We hope to have our BIGGEST food drive ever to honor the memory of Julie Sullivan, co-director of Hopetown.
please consider sending them to the school nurse. We also need t-shirts and long sleeve shirts.
Kid sizes only. 5T is most needed.
(If your child uses some of the nurse’s bottoms, please wash and return them.)

Siblings are welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
No school on Friday, October 10 for Teacher PD.
Fall Break is October 10-17.
Students will return to school October 20.
Have a safe and restful break.
We will be celebrating the 50th day of school on Wednesday, October 8th.
We have many BOOGIE WOOGIE activities planned. Some activities include a hula hoop and bubble gum blowing contest, a Sock Hop dance and lots of 50th Day math and reading activities! We will enjoy popcorn and Root Beer floats
at our very own in school Drive-in!
We will also be having a DRESS UP LIKE THE 50s DAY! Students may come to school in 50s style clothes!

Kelso's Choices
We are learning about Kelso’s Choices in Guidance classes the next two weeks. Students are learning how to solve conflicts peacefully by using Kelso’s Choices. Take this opportunity to talk with your child about what they have learned. Let’s work together to educate our children on being peaceful problem solvers.

Please join us Thursday, August 21st for the first Parent Club meeting of the year. This is a great way to get involved at school. Title 1 meeting will start after the Parent club meeting.
