🐾 Pets-Acular Pet Photo Contest! 🐾 Good afternoon, Westhills families! We are excited to announce that new flyers are going out for our Parent Club Holiday Pets-Acular Pet Photo Contest! 🎄🐶🐱 For some reason, one of the QR code links stopped working, and we want to make sure everyone can enter as many pet photos as they’d like. To make things easier, we’re sharing the direct hyperlinks below so you can access everything right from your phone. 📸 How to Enter: • Each pet photo entry is $5.00 • You may enter multiple pets/photos • Important: Each $5 entry covers ONE photo • $5 = 1 photo • $10 = 2 photos • $15 = 3 photos, etc. If more photos are submitted than paid entries, only the first photo(s) will be counted. The MCHS student council is having a leadership camp on December 13th from 3-7. This will include crafts, teamwork, music, dinner, and more. We would like to invite your students to this experience. This is a great opportunity for our students to get mentored by a high school student and get a glimpse of MCHS. See flyer for more information.

The MCHS Student Council is excited to host our Holiday Leadership Camp on Saturday, December 13th from 3–7 PM at Marshall County High School. This event is open to all students in 1st–8th grade, and it will include crafts, leadership activities, holiday fun, and dinner. Registration is $25. 🎉 CONGRATULATIONS, MRS. KATE OLIVER! Westhills Elementary is absolutely thrilled to celebrate Mrs. Kate Oliver, 5th grade Science and Social Studies teacher, for being named both the Westhills 5–8 Teacher of the Year and the Marshall County 5–8 District Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Oliver is a shining example of innovation, dedication, and heart. Her passion for helping students discover the wonder in science and the stories of our world is unmatched, and her impact reaches far beyond her classroom. Westhills is better because of her leadership, her kindness, and her unwavering commitment to excellence. We were honored to have Tammy Lewis, District Curriculum Specialist, join us for the surprise recognition, along with Mrs. Oliver’s family—her daughter Shelby, husband John, the Westhills administrative team, and her amazing fellow 5th grade teachers. Westhills Families, As we head into this season of gratitude, I want to say how truly thankful we are for each of you. Thanks to our school community all of the WES staff were treated to a coffee, refresher, or hot chocolate this morning from Tom's Coffee Truck. Students were also blessed with sweet Grateful Grams today from Beverly Ann's Cookies. Thank you for making us all feel special today. We hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving! It’s the perfect time to show our gratitude for the incredible staff at Westhills Elementary School! Our teachers and support staff pour their time, resources, and hearts into making sure our students have everything they need to learn and grow. Here’s a great chance for our community to come together and say, “Thank you!” Tom’s Coffee Truck and Westhills Administration have teamed up for Educators Week to treat every teacher and staff member serving our Lewisburg 4th–6th graders to a free drink of their choice on Friday, Nov. 21. You all — our silent auction items this year are truly the best yet! 🎉 The baskets and individual items are absolutely incredible, and trust me… you do NOT want to miss this!
