CHES would like to congratulate third grade student,  Alaina Herron for receiving the Dean Delk Academic Award for the 25 - 26 school year. Alaina has demonstrated exceptional commitment to her studies, maintaining straight A’s throughout the academic year. Third grade introduces a significant shift in rigor, yet Alaina has met every challenge with a tireless work ethic. 

Beyond the grade book, Alaina is a natural leader. She doesn't just lead by word, but by example. She sets a high standard for her peers and fosters a productive learning environment. She is consistently mindful of those around her, treating every classmate with genuine kindness. Alaina is often the first to volunteer when help is needed, showing a maturity and willingness to serve that is rare at her age.

We are incredibly proud of the growth and "show-out" academic performance Alaina has displayed this year. She is the embodiment of the values represented by the Dean Delk Academic Award. We have no doubt that her current trajectory will lead her to even greater achievements in the years to come.
