Local veterans walked the red carpet yesterday at Marshall Elementary School, as they were honored for their service during the school's Veterans Day Program. Music was provided by the MCHS choir, students recited the pledge and a poem, Civil Air Patrol cadets presented the flags, and Veteran Service Officer Brandon Cannon was the guest speaker.
