It's not too early to start planning for your student to attend the district's free Summer Acceleration Camp to be held June 1-25 at Westhills Elementary and Delk-Henson Intermediate School. Activities included daily, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, will include instruction in reading and math, along with physical activities; breakfast and lunch provided at no cost; and transportation provided when possible. Space is limited so please complete the online interest survey before March 10, or request a paper application at your child's school. Parents will be notified by early April if their child has been accepted into summer camp and additional paperwork will be required at that time to secure enrollment.
